Now both pups have found homes. The boy is moving to Ylivieska and the girl to Kajaani.

As a sheltie pups they are a bit weird...for example they like water! Whenever I am having a shower they are under water with me. They also like playing tug-of-war like terriers. Fun pups!

The pups travelled today by car to visit Marjatta´s hairsalon. Both Pilot and Pixel were curiously jumping around the salon and talking to customers :)

Pups were health checked. Pixel and Pilot are healthy in all aspect and also their bites are fine. Pilot had both of his testicles. Eyes were free of cea. They had a parvo vaccination and they were also microchipped.

Now the pups are very cute! They are playing a lot. They like to play tug-of-war. They also like to climb every where. They are practising barking............

Pixel and Pilot are now jumping around the house among the grown shelties and Viv. I have problems with the pictures I have taken, but I hope I am able to publish them over weekend. On monday the register papers will be send to the Finnish Kennelclub.

The puppy box is now taken away, and the pups have more space. Today they are introduced to rest of the house. Both are now very active and bold!

They are today 4 weeks old. The pups will be OK! Now they are both very active. They are running around the puppyroom, playing with toys and each other. Today they were introduced to their aunt-Riina. They have also their first agility obstacle; a mini open tunnel in their box =)

They will be today 3 weeks old! The pups got their first antiparasitic treatment. I am also giving more and more proper dog food.

Both are moving more, better and faster around the puppy box.

They both opened their eyes today. The boy is practising walking with very unsteady steps =)

They are just sleeping and eating now. The weights are getting very nicely up. It has been nice to see how last week they were like flat chested ratts and this week they are more like oval shaped little dog puppies. The boy looks very massive and the girl is rather delicate with good angulations on back.

The pups are 10 days old. Today we should shorten their BIG LONG nails. They look like very small whales with short legs. In fact they look funny. Their fur is getting longer and I suspect that soon their eyes will open. The boy is even trying to put some weight to his feet and he girl is trying to sit for a while.

I am running wildly between puppy room and my work. Pups are very small, but alive!

The pups stopped loosing weight. I am bottlefeeding them every second hour. Luckily Essi is doing fine, but she is short of milk. Otherwise she is taking good care of her babies.

This is the day they should have been born. The girl is 118g and the boy 143g. The names for them could be Pixel and Pilot ;) In finnish: Pikseli ja Pilotti!

Weights from this morning; girl 110g and the boy 132g. I´ll try to make some photos of them today... I hope there will be seen something else in the picture than a black spot =)
In the afternoon the pups have gotten some more grams of weight. Now I will weight the pups at least 3 times a day. This way, I can start to give them extra milk, as soon as possible, if the growing stops.
In the evening the girl is 114g and the boy 140g. And there is plenty of milk coming from Essi.

An half hour before midnight (23.40 o´clock) Essi gave birth to a very small and very dark tricolor bitch puppy that weight only 98 g. Twenty minutes past midnight (00.20 o´clock) a tricolor male puppy, that is as dark as the bitch puppy, was born. This male is also very tiny; only 114 g.
In the afternoon (14.30), the bitch puppy is 102g and the male 126g.
In the evening (21.30), the bitch is 106g and the male 130g.
